 In the land of the old Bran , there is a house with a sweet name, fluffy, and which makes your mouth water, and also makes you staying more pleasant. At “Mama Cozonacilor”(“The mother of pound cakes”) you will enter in a space that is really nicely arranged and with a peculiar comfort. For these aspects, the “Mama Cozonacilor” Pension has received a few awards which reflect the strandards that you will find here.
Placed in a privileged area (Bran Simon), the pension has its fame in making pound cakes and pies, pastry made after a traditional recipe. The apple pies, cheese cakes and snails with walnuts are the main specialties. The folk costume that the hosts wear, the trout farm from the yard, arranged with a pavilion and possibilities to fish, are just more aces that you must keep in mind when you plan an escape to “The Mother of Pound Cakes”. You must remember that all the dishes from the guests’s tables are fresh natural products and they are qualified for any exigent top of traditional food: milk, sour cream, different kinds of cheese and fresh eggs, local meat specialties (yearling pastrami, spitted mutton, sausages, bacon and other smoked meat).

Mama Cozonacilor is built to exclusive use of our tourists and has a capacity of 30 places. In the neighborhood (about 700m), there is another pension, and together with it, we can offer you up to 46 accommodation places.
The 13 double rooms and one flat (for four persons) are ordered on three levels:
Level 1 - one flat, one room with own bathroom
Level 2 - one room with own bathroom, six rooms with bathroom in the hall
Attic - five rooms with bathroom in the hall
-The flat has two rooms, each one with double bed. Eight rooms have double beds, and five have two one-person beds. The beds are made at request, of hard wood with RELAXA mattresses. The villa has seven bathrooms with washstands, showers and water closets. Two of the rooms have own bathrooms and the others are adequately ordered on each level. All bathrooms have current warm and cold water. In the middle of the villa there is a staircase that bounds all the levels and at the end of each hall there are balconies that offer a lovely view over the village and surrounding hills. |

The near-by hills and the tracks equipped in the Bran area satisfy the needs of those who like this sport. For the experts of this sport, Poiana Brasov, situated at only 25 km from Rodica Villa, offers you the best ski tracks in Romania.
-Mountain biking:
The alpine and forestry roads from the West Side of Bucegi Mountains are ideal for mountain biking. Many touristic routes or parts of them seem to have been made especially for this sport.
-Bungee jumping

Those who like extreme sports can jump in the Rasnoavei Gorges. This is the second height Bungee jumping installation in Europe (150 m free fall)!
