Today we take you to the place where the gourmet pleasures of life happily meet other pleasant occupations, like slow music and stories of the food from the promise land.
“Legenda”(“The legend”) opened in January 2007, for those who appreciate good food. Here you will attend a delicious lesson of cuisine geography, while the restaurant has also Israelian cuisine. The restaurant’s promoters wanted to create with furniture and menus, a hospitable and intimate place, where you would come back as often as possible (see the photo gallery).
You will eat well and variedly from the most representative Israelian foods, along with everything that is tasteful in the Romanian and international cuisine. Present innovations were added to the traditional recipes. The sauces and the exotic flavours are the specialty and pride of the place.
There are ardent debates as concerning the influences from the Israelian cuisine. The things that matters in Israelian food is that every dish is tasteful and multi-coloured, just like the people. Take into account the influences of the 8 emigrant nations, the sophisticated cuisines of the old nations, such as Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Greece and Turkey, where we add French, Italian and Spanish ingredients...What we will have on the table is a delight.
The top quality of “Legend” ‘s cuisine is maintained by the participation of the owners. They have a significant contribution in elaborating the recipes. In their own kitchen and oven (brought from Israel), they prepare the best dishes of the place: sauces, bread (3 types), juice, creams, desserts etc.
A special attention must be given to the skewer. The spices are from Israel, and the perfect taste is given because of the fact that they are roasted on coal grill and inox spikers are used.
With the dessert, they also serve live music with the Costel Margean band : café –concert, traditional Romanian music, for party, for relaxing or contemplating the feast...suitable for everybody’s taste. And so, another evening of legend passed by.
