We look for intimacy by using different methods. We also want to be treated sometimes as olden boyars. For these reasons and for a few other more we present you AL MACARONARO. Located in an area which reminds us of the old Bucharest, isolated from the main highways, the restaurant was quite recently opened (2005) and meanwhile its customers – both the old and the new ones, have just one thing to say: impeccable.

This dwelling of gastronomy welcomes us with a refined aspect given by the comfortable furniture – warm-coloured leather armchairs, massive wood tables with tastefully chosen plates, a good music in an undertone – all these surrounded by walls which are “friendly” due to the colours. The discreet paintings and the inner elements made of massive wood tastefully complement the two lounges which can accommodate up to 60 persons plus the new wine-cellar lounge with an 80 seats capacity.
When it comes to food, the menu is very diverse. As the name suggests, the main star in the menu is the Italian food. But the other stars from the “Al Macaronaro” constellation aren t less shiny.
Besides the various kinds of pasta we can easily find entrees, soups and stocks, concoctions of various types of meat, original seafood and fish dishes, desserts. It s important to mention the exquisite quality of the concoctions – to which the freshness of the carefully chosen ingredients contributes as well. All these are accompanied by wines from famous vineyards, brandies and digestives which will join the concoctions in the carrousel of tastes.
We recommend Al Macaronaro for any kind of event. From an intimate date to private parties, weddings, baptisms and other special events – all can benefit from the same pleasant atmosphere and the excellent serving.
